Hope is that energy that will drive you to work harder and attain your goals.  Second, hope sets your mind to be optimistic and your heart to be driven.  Optimism and a highly driven attitude gets things going in life.  Third, when you're hopeful, you're essentially reaching within, it's a beautiful feeling to nurture internally. When you feel good inside, you'll be able to effectively open up more and reach more because those insecurities and negative feelings are essentially in shutdown mode.
