4 Fixes for Canned Vegetables
What to do with your canned vegetables that always comes in handy when the power's out or if you're stuck in your place during the hurricane? 4 fixes: First, Add canned vegetables to your instant ramen for a quick veggie noodle fix. Second, remove water from canned vegetables, heat pan and add two tablespoon of butter, throw in the canned veggies, stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes, dash of garlic powder and teriyaki sauce to taste. Third, boil water, throw in dry rice or egg noodles, cook until done usually just few minutes. Drain noodles, remove the water. In a heated pan, thrown in the canned vegetables with two tablespoon of oil, canola or vegetable oil are great, and then season with one tablespoon teriyaki and soy sauce. Add a teaspoon of Sesame oil, if you have sesame seeds, throw them in as well. Cook for couple of minutes, usually 5 to 7 is ok. Fourth, drain water from canned vegetables, throw in a can of spaghetti sauce, cut mushrooms, can be fresh or canned. Prepare your spaghetti noodles, boil it until cook for few minutes. Mix the sauce with the noodles and enjoy!
